We talk first, fully clothed.
The part of recovery nobody prepared you for. A private room, an exam that is not rushed, and a therapist who has spent fourteen years doing exactly this.
What It Is
The pelvic floor is a group of muscles slung across the base of your pelvis. It holds, it lets go, and it works with your breath, your hips and your deep core. Which means it can be assessed and retrained, like any other muscle group in your body.
That assessment is the whole point. Some pelvic floors are weak. Plenty are too tight to work properly, and squeezing a tight muscle harder makes the symptoms worse. So we start with a cause-first evaluation, then build a plan with an endpoint around what we actually find.
This isn’t Kegels, and it isn’t a gynecology visit. Kegels are one exercise handed out without an exam. Your gynecologist looks after organs and tissue health. Pelvic floor therapy looks at muscle function: strength, tone, coordination and breathing, then retrains it. Dr. Namrata Agarwal is a woman, and she’s the only clinician here.

What It Helps
The pelvic floor is a muscle group like any other, which means it can be assessed and it can be retrained.

It starts with talking, fully clothed, in a private room with the door closed. Then an outside look at your posture, breathing, hips and abdomen. An internal pelvic floor exam is the most direct way to assess muscle tone and coordination, and it’s done with a gloved hand, one finger, no speculum, and only after you’ve said yes. You can decline it and still be treated. Dr. Namrata Agarwal is a woman, and she’s the only person in the room with you.
Leaking, heaviness, pain with sex, and a core that won’t switch on are all common after childbirth. Common is not the same thing as something you have to live with. Your body did something enormous, and then nobody handed it a rehab plan. This is the rehab plan.
You get a real answer at your evaluation, with an endpoint attached to it. Pelvic floor muscles respond to training the way other muscles do, so progress is gradual and it’s measurable. Coverage differs by plan, so we verify your exact benefits before your first session and there’s no surprise on your bill. Nobody regrets starting too early. Plenty of people regret waiting.
