We test both sides and compare.
Tested before you go back in, not just rested and hoped over. We measure the injured side against the healthy one and tell you honestly when you are ready.
What It Is
Sports rehab is the part of recovery that gets you back to the thing itself. Not walking without pain. The sprint, the cut, the landing, the throw, at the speed your sport actually happens.
It runs in stages. Restore range. Rebuild strength on the injured side until it matches the other one. Then speed, then change of direction, then contact or competition. Each stage has criteria you have to hit before the next one opens, so you always know where you are.
Being cleared by date isn’t the same as being ready. A calendar has no idea whether your injured leg can absorb a landing. Testing does: side-to-side strength, hop and landing quality, and how the joint behaves once you’re tired. That’s why we measure instead of counting weeks.
Criteria, not the calendar
What It Helps
Getting back in is not about the calendar. It is about whether the injured side can do what the other one can.

Questions, Answered
By testing, not by counting weeks. We compare the injured side to the other one for strength, hopping, landing quality and control once you’re fatigued. When those match and hold up under sport-specific movement, you’re ready. Until then you know exactly which test is holding you back and what we’re doing about it.
That depends on the injury, and the honest answer comes after your evaluation, once you can see the stages in front of you. What we can say now: going back before the testing says yes is the surest way to lose more of the season than you had to. Nobody regrets starting too early. Plenty of people regret waiting.
Almost always, and usually more than you expect. We keep loading everything that isn’t injured, protect the part that is, and train the qualities your sport asks for. You’re one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, every visit, so the program moves as the joint earns more. Coverage differs by plan, so we verify your exact benefits before your first session.
